FAQS
FAQS
What is the best way to see the sites of Paris?

Always check with your Brownell advisor to see which days the museums are open (as it can vary greatly). Your advisor can purchase a ”carte” for you, which is a pass for 1+ days to all the museums in Paris. This will save you time and money in the long run! Take children to museums in the morning when their minds are fresh. Save things like cooking classes, shopping, and garden tours for the afternoon hours.

How should I pay for things?

ATMs are the best mode of getting the local currency, and they get the best exchange rate! It is a good idea to carry about $100 in local currency—anything above that can be cumbersome to carry and is easily stolen. Use your credit card for everything you can, but be sure to let your bank know you are traveling before you leave the country.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

You will find crowds between May to September and experience the most people in July. Visit between October to April to avoid crowds and a pleasant climate.
