Antigua is extremely lush with green mountains and has a traditional Caribbean vibe. It can be quieter with the less hustle and bustle as some of the other islands. There are no high-rise hotels, as is the case with some of the other Caribbean islands.
Aside from all of the gorgeous hotel and resort offerings, we highly recommend visiting Shirley Heights on Sunday evenings. Enjoy a scenic drive to a huge bluff overlooking the island and water. On Sundays, enjoy live music, a big cookout, and bar. There is also a brand-new zip line course on the island.
