Katie began her career as an attorney specializing in family law for the better part of 15 years. During that time, she worked with the county court system as a judicial staff attorney and then segued into private practice. The pandemic allowed Katie to evaluate whether her passion aligned with her career.
For Katie, a business in travel is the opportunity to converge a life-long pursuit with a career. The love for travel and adventure was instilled while growing up with her family in Michigan. She is so thankful for their love of taking the road less traveled during their trips and seeking out destinations not yet overly discovered. Her favorite family trip adventures include the Galapagos Islands, Iceland, and the Norwegian fjords. She has fond memories of driving to the airport with her parents and sister in the dark before dawn and her father declaring, “Here we go on another brave new adventure!”
Katie has managed to pass her enthusiasm for travel along to her husband Anthony and 3 boys who can’t wait to discover their Italian roots in Sicily next. Besides the obvious travel hobby, Katie is a voracious reader and loves to golf with her husband, spend time with family, and search out the best new restaurants with the greatest craft cocktails.
