That’s why Passalacqua has adopted a unique approach to dining, one that allows guests to embrace the country’s vibrant gastronomic culture just as they would if they were staying in the house of an Italian friend. Passalacqua features a restaurant with a candlit terrace and the Sala Ovale, an historic room characterized by frescoed gods and goddesses. Right by the pool, the Double J pool bar offer guests a joyful realm of conviviality and fun for a light lunch. While, the snug and stylish bar celebrates northern Italy’s vibrant cocktail and aperitivo scene and the gentle art of conversation.
Passalacqua is an opulent 18th-century aristocrats’ home on the shores of Lake Como that has been transformed into a unique hotel. Its 24 characterful guest accomodations are spread across three magnificently restored edifices, surrounded by seven acres of landscaped gardens that descend to a private jetty. The hotel, restaurant and gardens are open esclusively to Passalacqua guests – as is the bright orange Spiaggina, the oh-so-cute vintage open-top Fiat 500 used to whisk guests around the property.
