The Atacama Desert is known as one of the best places on earth for stargazing. At Nayara Alto Atacama, there is no artificial light pollution at night, and the glittering stars and constellations are visible to the naked eye. Guest can visit the Ckepi viewpoing (eye in the Kunza language), where their professional telescope allows them to enjoy a deeper evening of stargazing with the instruction of their expert guides. The night sky transforms throughout the year, so depending on the time of visit, guests may have a clear view of the moon’s craters, or of hundreds of constellations and nebulae.
