Since childhood, Stacy has always had the travel bug and dreamed about exploring new places and experiencing new cultures. After leaving a career in non-profit development at a hospital in Chicago, she found a way to satisfy her wanderlust by becoming an independent consultant in the travel industry. After 10 years in the industry, she has become the founder of Open Doorways Travel, a boutique travel design company that allows her to translate her passion for travel into curated trips for her clients. Her main mission for Open Doorways is to create memories that will last a lifetime for her clients.
Stacy feels fortunate to have two daughters who share her travel passion. Her daughters have inherited the same travel gene and together they enjoy exploring and experiencing new destinations.
