Vida loves the thrill of arriving at new places, near or far. Her childhood travels began with long road trips throughout the Western U.S. where the goal was to find the ultimate swimming pool after being in a hot car all day. She has since traveled throughout much of the US, Mexico, Europe and Australia (where she also had the good fortune to live as an expat for 4 years). Some favorite experiences include a multi-generational trip to Lithuania, visiting wine regions throughout Australia, and a trip with her teens to Rome & the Amalfi Coast when post-pandemic travel had just become possible. She has also loved becoming a regular on the Kohala coast of Kona after having several friends relocate to Hawaii.

Vida is beginning a second chapter as a travel advisor after a fulfilling career in education, most recently as a Reading Specialist. Travel research is a passion and Vida adores sharing her inspiring finds with friends and family. Her heart races a little faster when she discovers that tucked away restaurant, the best Aperol spritz, or a market with the perfect provisions for a picnic. Her recipe for the ideal holiday includes a healthy mix of meticulous advance travel planning and a willingness to explore the places she stumbles upon along the way. Vida lives in Bend, Oregon with her favorite travel partners–her two daughters. With one in high school and one heading to college, more adventures await!
