A family safari in Kenya at the age of 11 started Avery’s life-long love of travel. Later experiences studying in Spain and working in public health in Latin America intensified this passion for exploring the world. Inspired by the transformative power of new experiences, Avery started her travel-planning career at Broadreach Summer Adventures, where she worked for seven years designing international summer programs for teens. She became an expert at balancing complex logistics to ensure safe, impactful, and seamless trips—priorities that guide her as a travel advisor today.

Now as a mom of two boys in Raleigh, NC, Avery is still looking for her next adventure, often with her family of four. Whether it be a multi-generational trip to the Galapagos, a reunion with girlfriends in Miami, or a tropical getaway with her husband, she relishes the process of planning the many logistics required to make a trip flow smoothly.
